Net Hoster
ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) provides multiple channels for each line you have connected, this allows for multiple concurrent phone calls at any one time.
Each digital line can support both voice and data services with these lines providing greater bandwidth than a PSTN line, making them well suited for services such as data transfer and video conferencing.
If a business required 6 phone lines for simultaneous calls within the office they would require 6 PSTN lines, but would only require 3 ISDN 2 lines making them a more cost-effective solution.
ISDN services are ideal for medium to large businesses and are generally connected to the office via a PBX system.
